Keira Knightley bags her first BAFTA nomination
Keira Knightley has received her first BAFTA Award nomination.
The English actress has been nominated for Best Actress for her role in Atonement.
Knightley is up against some tough competition, including Julie Christie for Away from Her, Marion Cotillard for La Vie en Rose, and Cate Blanchett for Elizabeth: The Golden Age. However, her performance in Atonement is widely considered to be one of the best of her career, and she is a strong contender to take home the award.
