Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze was still grappling with the loss during his postgame press conference. He said he was proud of his team's effort, but he was disappointed with the outcome. "We had our chances to win the game," Freeze said. "We just didn't make enough plays."

Freeze was asked about the team's defensive performance. He said he was pleased with the way his defense played for most of the game. "They gave up a few big plays, but overall, I thought they played well," Freeze said.

Freeze was also asked about the team's offense. He said he was disappointed with the way his offense played in the second half. "We didn't execute our game plan," Freeze said. "We made too many mistakes."
